Homeward Bound

What you always want to welcome you home: a third of a gallon of milk two weeks past its expiration date.

[Update: it went straight into the freezer. No way am I opening it when I can see the chunks. It'll go directly into the dumpster tomorrow.]

Yeah! No slimy lettuce in the crisper? No take-out containers of leftovers that have been growing while you were away?

I prefer to think of it as "differently flavored cottage cheese."

Welcome back. Have been reading -- absorbing -- your posts from Kenyon. Which have made me sorta kinda wish I could spring for a similar experience, to tell you the truth. You did a great job on those writeups.

Lol... nice welcome home present.

Yeah, there are great people at UNH, but the funding sucks and the administration for the program aren't communicative and just "find" money and throw it at people (not me). They don't tell us what qualifies us for funding or anything. I'm currently at the bottom of the funding pole and I'm suffocating in mud. I don't get it. It makes for an unpleasant experience, that's for sure. BUT... I'm much happier on the East Coast than I was in Texas, so that's saying something.
